Ingredients

  • 2 cups - yogurt
  • 1 - medium carrot, peeled and shredded
  • 1 - green chilli, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Cilantro

How to Make Carrot Raita

  • Beat the yogurt (add water if it's too thick) until smooth. Add the carrots, chilli and salt and mix well.
  • Heat the oil and add mustard seeds until they splutter.
  • Add this to the yogurt.
  • Garnish with chopped cilantro (coriander) leaves.
