How to Make Cashew Fruit Payasam

  • Wash and cut the cashew fruits into four - five pieces, cook it in a pressure cooker adding a little water up to 3 whistles.
  • Coarsely grind the cooked cashew and add jaggery to it.
  • Now place this mixture in a stove and keep stirring till it becomes thick (thickness as you require).
  • Meanwhile grate a little coconut and fry it. Add this to payasam along with cardamom (coarsely ground).
