Ingredients

  • 1 medium - Cauliflower, cut into big florets
  • 2 medium - Potatoes, chopped into cubes
  • 1 - Onion, thinly sliced
  • 5 - Green chillies
  • 1 inch piece - Ginger
  • 8 Cloves - Garlic
  • 1 inch piece - Cinnamon
  • 2 - Cloves
  • 1 tsp - Jeera
  • 2 tbsp - Coriander powder
  • A pinch - Turmeric powder
  • 5 tbsp - grated Coconut
  • Salt, to taste
  • How to Make Cauliflower - Potato Sabzi:

    1. In a blender, make a paste of the grated coconut, green chillies, ginger, garlic, cinnamon, and cloves. Add water as required.
    2. Heat oil in a pan, add jeera. When it splutters add the chopped onions and fry till lightly brown.
    3. Then add the paste and coriander powder, turmeric powder and fry till oil separates from the paste.
    4. Add the chopped potatoes and stir well to coat the potatoes with the spices.
    5. Add salt and required water and allow to cook.
    6. When potatoes are almost done add the cauliflower florets. Stir, reduce heat and cover the pan till the cauliflower and potatoes are cooked.
    7. Serve hot with Rotis.
