Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Cauliflower stalks cut into thin strips
  • 1 cup - Peas
  • 4 tbsp - Oil
  • 1 tsp - Mustard paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Haldi powder
  • 1 tsp - Green chilli paste
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Cauliflower and Peas in Mustard

  • Drop the stalks in hot salted pail of water and leave there for 15 minutes for the stalks to soften slightly.
  • Remove and drain out all the water.
  • Heat the oil and fry the stalk for 1 minute.
  • Lower the flame and mix in the spices and the pastes and the peas and stir fry for 1 minute.
  • Add 3 tbsp. of water and cook over low flame for 2-3 minutes.
  • The preparation will be dry.
  • Serve with plain steamed rice.
