Ingredients

  • 1 - big cauliflower well cleaned and cut
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1/4 tsp - asafoetida
  • 1/4 tsp - fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp - sugar
  • 1 tbsp - chopped, coriander leaves
  • 2 - green chillies
  • To grind:
  • 1 tsp - garlic
  • 1 - medium sized onion
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 - medium sized tomato
  • 1 tsp - vinegar
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Cauliflower Delight

  • Blend in a mixer all the ingredients and keep aside.
  • In a heavy bottom pan heat the oil and fry cauliflower flowerets till light brown and keep them aside.
  • In the same pan heat some oil, and when hot, add asafoetida, fenugreek seeds, sugar and the ground masala.
  • Fry well till oil separates from gravy.
  • Now add the cauliflower pieces one by one and cover on low heat for about 10 mins.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and green chillies.
  • Serve with rotis or parathas.
