Ingredients

  • 1 - cauliflower
  • 1 cup - tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - onion-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp - cashew paste
  • 1 - onion
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp - cinnamon powder

How to Make Cauliflower in Red Sauce

  • Smear garlic-onion paste along with salt on the cauliflower florets and keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a heavy pan, saute cauliflower on high heat and remove.
  • Add the remaining oil, fry the onion and when it turns brown, add the tomato puree, salt, green chillies and the cashew paste.
  • When it boils, add the cauliflower and simmer till done.
  • Before serving, add the cardamom-cinnamon powder and mix well.
