  • 1 - cauliflower, diced
  • 2 - Onions
  • Coriander leaves
  • Curry leaves
  • To grind:
  • 2 tbsp - grated Coconut
  • 2 tbsp - roasted gram
  • 5 - Red Chillies
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • A pinch - Turmeric powder
  • A pinch - Asafoetida
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Cauliflower Masala Curry:

    1. Cook cauliflower in salted water; drain.
    2. Grind roasted gram, red chillies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt together into a fine powder.
    3. Add the grated coconut to it and run it once in the mixer, keep this aside.
    4. Now heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard and curry leaves.
    5. Add chopped onions and fry till it turns golden brown.
    6. Add the cauliflower and ground masala and saute on low flame for 5 minutes.
    7. Garnish with coriander leaves.
    8. Serve hot with curd rice.
