Ingredients

  • 1- medium sized Cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup - boiled peas
  • 100 g - French fries for decoration (optional)
  • For the paste: 1/2 bunch - fresh Coriander leaves
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 15 tbsp - fresh coconut, grated
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • salt to taste
  • juice of half Lemon
  • For the sauce: 1/2 cup - Tomato ketchup
  • 2 tsp - Butter
  • 1 level tsp - plain flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar

How to Make Cauliflower Special

  • Boil the cauliflower in salted water (do not overcook).
  • Stuff the cauliflower with the ground paste. Keep it warm in an oven or just set it aside.
  • Melt butter in a broad frying pan, add the flour and cook for a minute.
  • Add the tomato ketchup and 1/4 cup of water and boil for a minute.
  • Add salt, chilli powder and sugar. The sauce is ready.
  • Pour the hot sauce over the cauliflower just before serving (If cooking on gas, put the cauliflower in the sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes).
  • Decorate with boiled peas and French fries and serve.
