Ingredients

  • 1- medium sized Cauliflower
  • 1/2 cup - boiled peas
  • 100 g - French fries for decoration (optional)
  • For the paste: 1/2 bunch - fresh Coriander leaves
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • 15 tbsp - fresh coconut, grated
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • salt to taste
  • juice of half Lemon
  • For the sauce: 1/2 cup - Tomato ketchup
  • 2 tsp - Butter
  • 1 level tsp - plain flour
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • How to Make Cauliflower Special:

    1. Boil the cauliflower in salted water (do not overcook).
    2. Stuff the cauliflower with the ground paste. Keep it warm in an oven or just set it aside.
    3. Melt butter in a broad frying pan, add the flour and cook for a minute.
    4. Add the tomato ketchup and 1/4 cup of water and boil for a minute.
    5. Add salt, chilli powder and sugar. The sauce is ready.
    6. Pour the hot sauce over the cauliflower just before serving (If cooking on gas, put the cauliflower in the sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes).
    7. Decorate with boiled peas and French fries and serve.
