  • 2 cups - Cauliflower florets (soak in salted warm water for 10 mins, rinse and drain)
  • Spinach stalks - one inch length
  • 3/4 cup - Onions
  • Green chilli - 1
  • 1 spring - Curry leaves
  • Pinch each - cumin and mustard
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • A pinch - Turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • How to Make Cauliflower with spinach stalks:

    1. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard, cumin and add green chillies and curry leaves.
    2. Add onions, sprinkle salt and fry till they turn golden brown.
    3. Add ginger garlic paste, fry for a min
    4. Add cauliflower, turmeric and salt and fry till the raw smell disappears for 2 to 3 mins
    5. Add spinach stalks, fry for another 2 to 3 mins or till the raw smell of the stalk disappear
    6. Add chilli powder, garam masala mix well and fry.
    7. Cover and cook on a low flame till the stalks and cauliflower is cooked. Keep stirring to prevent burning.
    8. Serve.
