How to Make Chaas

  • Clean and roughly chop ginger and chilli.
  • Clean and separate the mint leaves from the stalk.
  • Make a smooth paste of mint leaves, chopped chilli and ginger along with 100ml water in a blender.
  • To this add ½ of the crushed ice, yoghurt, water, dried mango powder, salt and whip till all ingredients are well blended.
  • Strain though a fine sieve (so that you do not get to bite the ginger and mint), but just the fine taste
  • Serve with the remaining ice added to it, with a mint leaf to decorate
