  • Low Fat Yoghurt – 200 ml
  • Water – 600ml
  • Mint Sprigs – ¼ bunch
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Ginger – 2 inch root
  • Salt to Taste
  • Dried Mango powder / Chaat Masala – to Taste
  • Crushed Ice – 200 grams
  • How to Make Chaas:

    1. Clean and roughly chop ginger and chilli.
    2. Clean and separate the mint leaves from the stalk.
    3. Make a smooth paste of mint leaves, chopped chilli and ginger along with 100ml water in a blender.
    4. To this add ½ of the crushed ice, yoghurt, water, dried mango powder, salt and whip till all ingredients are well blended.
    5. Strain though a fine sieve (so that you do not get to bite the ginger and mint), but just the fine taste
    6. Serve with the remaining ice added to it, with a mint leaf to decorate
