Ingredients

  • Nestle Milkmaid (Condensed Milk) – 400 ml
  • Milk – 5 cups
  • Carrots – 750 grams
  • Sugar (to taste)
  • Ghee(Clarified Butter) – 2 tsp
  • Raisins – 25 grams
  • Cashew Nuts – 25 grams

How to Make Chacko`s Carrot Halwa

  • Grate carrots
  • Chop nuts into small bits
  • In a deep bottomed non-stick pan bring milk to boil
  • Add grated carrots, reduce flame and stir occasionally till milk dries up
  • Add condensed milk and sugar, and cook on low flame for another 15 – 20 minutes whilst stirring occasionally
  • Add ghee and stir for another 5 minutes
  • Serve hot or cold garnished with nuts and raisins.
