Ingredients

  • 3 cups of Rice flour
  • 1 cup of besan
  • 1/2 cup of melted Butter
  • Green chillies - 5 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander and Cumin seed powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  • Curd - 2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Greased Chakli utensil
  • How to Make Chakali:

    1. Mix rice flour and besan with all ingredients.
    2. Add a little bit warm water and make a soft dough. (Dough should be softer than the chapatti dough.)
    3. Grease the chakali utensil and squeeze out chakali shapes.
    4. Deep fry in oil on a medium flame till golden brown in colour.
    5. Drain excess oil.
    6. Serve with curd or butter.
