How to Make Chapatti Ka Chiwda

  • Cut chapati into small pieces and grind them into mixer for one minute.
  • Sliced onion and chopped tomato into small pieces.
  • Cut green chilli vertically.
  • In pan or kadai, heat 2 - 3 tbsp cooking oil.
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin and curry leaves.
  • When mustard seeds starts splitting, add sliced onion and green chillies.
  • Fry until onion turns golden brown.
  • Add chopped tomatoes. Stir for a while.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt. Stir it for a while.
  • Add 100 ml yoghurt and mix it well. Add ground chapati and mix it well.
  • Keep it on low fire for about five mins and stir it in short intervals.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
