  • 2 - 3 chapattis (broken into small pieces)
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin
  • A pinch of Asafoetida
  • 1 to 1 - 1/2 cup - sour buttermilk
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • How to Make Chapatti Kadi:

    1. In a little oil, add the cumin mustard. After it splutters add the broken chapatti pieces and stir fry for a minute.
    2. Add enough buttermilk so that the chappathis become very soft. Add salt and turmeric powder
    3. Make sure that the gravy becomes thick and the chapattis are soft. Serve hot.
