Ingredients

  • 1 heaped cup - flour
  • 1 1/2 cups - Milk
  • 10 tbsp - grated cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • oil

How to Make Cheese Panrolls

  • Sift the flour along with the baking powder, salt and pepper.
  • Beat the eggs till frothy.
  • Blend the flour, cheese, eggs and milk into a batter of medium consistency.
  • Make sure that there are no lumps.
  • Heat a small frying pan, with enough oil to coat it and pour in a little of the batter.
  • Move the pan around so that the batter spreads to the edges of the pan.
  • Fry the panroll on one side till light brown, flip over and fry on other side.
  • Roll it up and fix it with a toothpick.
  • Keep aside on a warm serving dish.
  • Repeat this process with the rest of the batter till all of it is used up.
  • Serve the panrolls immediately with mint chutney.
