Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup - butter
  • 1/2 cup - sifted flour
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp - ground cheese
  • 2 tbsp - minced onion
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - mustard

How to Make Cheese Pops

  • Heat water together with butter till the water boils and the butter melts.
  • Add the sifted flour, and using a wooden spoon, beat it well over gentle heat till it forms a ball. Take off the fire.
  • Add the eggs, one by one, beating very well.
  • Add the ground cheese, minced onion, salt, pepper and mustard.
  • Shape into small balls.
  • Deep fry in hot oil. Serve hot.
