Ingredients

  • 1 - cauliflower, medium-sized
  • 2 - eggs, beaten well
  • 3 tbsp - Butter
  • 4 tbsp - grated cheese
  • 3 tbsp - breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp - flour
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder

How to Make Cheesy Bake Cauliflower

  • Divide the cauliflower into two halves, remove the stalk and cut into florets. Soak in warm salt water for 45 minutes.
  • Cook the cauliflower florets in boiling water with a pinch of salt for 5 minutes, drain and keep aside.
  • Melt butter in a pan and slowly mix in the flour until smooth.
  • Slowly add milk to the butter and flour mixture. Mix well and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  • Add the salt, pepper, beaten eggs, 2 tbsp grated cheese, and 2 tbsp breadcrumbs to this sauce and mix well.
  • Add the cooked cauliflower and mix thoroughly.
  • Transfer to a buttered baking dish.
  • Mix the remaining breadcrumbs and cheese together and spread evenly on top.
  • Bake at 355 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  • Serve hot with French Fries and garlic bread.
