  • 250g - brown basmati Rice
  • 75 ml - French dressing
  • 4 - salad onions, sliced
  • 1 - small red pepper, chopped
  • 1 - carrot, coarsely grated
  • 125g - sprouted lentils or Bean sprouts
  • 75g - roasted hazelnuts or peanuts, roughly chopped
  • 420g - chick peas, drained
  • 3 tbsp - chopped fresh Parsley
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • How to Make Chick Pea Basmati Rice Salad:

    1. Cook rice according to pack instructions. Drain. Season well, then toss in dressing. Cool until tepid.
    2. Mix with remaining ingredients, then serve mounted on a serving dish with a mixed leaf green salad.
