  • 1/2 kg - chicken
  • 1 cup - coconut milk
  • 3 pieces - cinnamon
  • 3 - cloves
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1.5 cups - small onions
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves

How to Make Chicken - Milk Fry

  • Extract thick coconut milk from half a coconut.
  • Cut small onions lengthwise. Keep 2 tbsp of onions aside.
  • Put all the ingredients in a pressure cooker and pressure cook for 10 minutes.
  • Heat 2 tbsps of oil in a frying pan and add the reserved 2 tbsps of onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Add curry leaves and the cooked chicken and fry well on low heat till the flavour comes out.
