Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 250 gm
  • Bread slices - 8
  • For salsa
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • Onion - 1 big
  • Capsicum - 1
  • chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic - 2 flakes
  • salt, pepper, Sugar to taste
  • Tomatoes - 500 gm
  • How to Make Chicken and Salsa Sandwich:

    1. Cover chicken breast with water.
    2. Add one and a half tsp salt and few black pepper corns.
    3. Heat till it begins to boil.
    4. Reduce the flame and simmer till the chicken is cooked.
    5. Strain and cool the chicken. (Use the stock in other recipe) Shred the meat.
    6. For Salsa:
    7. Chop onion and capsicum (discard seeds).
    8. Blanch, peel and chop tomato.
    9. Heat oil, fry onion, garlic and capsicum till tender. Add all powders and tomato.
    10. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Simmer till thick.
    11. Sandwich two slices of bread with salsa and chicken meat.
