Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Chicken pieces
  • 250 g - Mushrooms (halved)
  • 2 - onions, chopped finely
  • 1/4 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 2 tbsp - Maida
  • Salt as per taste
  • Chopped Coriander leaves
  • How to Make Chicken Mushrooms:

    1. Marinate chicken pieces with salt, pepper and turmeric powder for 20 mins.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces till golden brown.
    3. Drain the pieces, place separately in a big flat casserole.
    4. In the same oil (if less, then add some oil) and fry onions till transparent.
    5. Add ginger-garlic paste and simmer for 2 minutes.
    6. Add red chilli powder and garam masala.
    7. Add maida and stir till light brown.
    8. Add chicken broth and mix well stirring continuously. Simmer for 2-3 minutes
    9. Pour the sauce over the chicken pieces.
    10. Bake it for 20 minutes at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
    11. Remove from the oven and spread mushrooms over it.
    12. Bake again for 10-15 minutes (till chicken is cooked).
    13. Garnish with coriander leaves.
