Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - basmati Rice
  • 4 - Chicken pieces
  • 2 - medium sized onions, sliced thinly
  • 4 - Laung (cloves)
  • 1 inch - Dalchini stick(cinnamon)
  • 2 - moti Ilaichi
  • 3 tbsp - pure Ghee
  • 2 - medium size tomatoes, chopped finely
  • 2 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli power
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 2.5 cups - water
  • How to Make Chicken Pulao:

    1. Wash and soak the rice in water for 1 hour.
    2. In a dish, add ghee, onion, moti ilaichi, laung and dalchini.
    3. Microwave on high power, uncovered for 3 minutes.
    4. Add rice, chicken, tomatoes, salt, garam masala, red chillies, garlic and ginger paste. Mix well.
    5. Add 2.5 cups of water. Mix.
    6. Microwave on high power, covered, for 17 minutes.
    7. Let it stand for 4 to 5 minutes.
    8. Fluff it up with a fork, to separate the grains of rice.
    9. Serve hot.
