Ingredients

  • 1 - chicken
  • 500 g - cheese(grated)
  • 2 - onions (sliced)
  • 1 kg - tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups - almonds (blanched, chopped and fried)
  • 1/2 tsp - freshly ground pepper

How to Make Chicken with Cheese and Almonds

  • Joint the chicken.
  • Boil the tomatoes and when well cooked, add the chicken, onions, salt and pepper.
  • Cook till the chicken is tender, adding water if it gets too dry.
  • When the chicken is cooked, stir in half the cheese and almonds and cook for a few more mins.
  • Place on to a serving dish and surround the chicken with the remaining cheese and almonds.
