  • 1 cup chickpeas, boiled
  • 1/3 cup tahini sauce (sesame seed paste)
  • ¼ cup Lemon juice
  • 2 Clove garlic, crushed
  • 2-3 tbsp. water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp. Olive oil
  • ¼ tsp. paprika powder
  • How to Make Chickpeas Hummus:

    1. Put the chickpeas, lemon juice, crushed garlic and about 2 tbsp. of water into a blender and blend until it forms a thick, smooth paste. Reserve a few chickpeas for garnish.
    2. Check for taste and add more lemon juice, salt, garlic or tahini to taste.
    3. Smoothen the paste with the back of a spoon from the centre to the edge of the dish, leaving a hollow in the middle.
    4. Pour a little olive oil into the centre.
    5. Garnish with a sprinkling of paprika powder and the reserved chickpeas.
