Ingredients

  • 500g - plain flour/maida
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • 200g - Butter or margarine
  • 200g - shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup - sour Curd or yogurt
  • oil for frying
  • How to Make Chilli Cheese Sticks:

    1. Mix all the ingredients and chill in a refrigerator for 2 hours.
    2. Then take out of the refrigerator and leave out to attain room temperature.
    3. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangular shape about 1/4 inch thick.
    4. Cut the dough into 3-inch strips about 1/4 inch wide.
    5. Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the strips until golden.
