Ingredients

  • Basmati rice - 2 cups
  • French beans - 100 gm
  • Capsicum - 2 large
  • Cabbage - 150 gm
  • Green peas - 50 gm
  • Carrot - 100 gm
  • 8 large - eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper - 1/2 tbsp
  • Chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Ajinomoto - optional
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp

How to Make Chinese Egg Fried Rice

  • Saute in a non-stick pan, French beans, sliced capsicum, sliced carrots, cabbage and green peas in 1 tbsp of oil. Add a little salt, pepper, chilli sauce, soy sauce and heat through and keep it aside.
  • In another pan, pour oil and add to it beaten eggs, salt and pepper and scramble the eggs.
  • Meanwhile wash the rice and fry it along with fried vegetables in some ghee.
  • Add 4 cups of water and cook on medium flame until the rice is almost cooked.
  • Add the fried egg into the rice and stir it with a fork and wait till all the water is drained.
  • Bake the rice in the oven at 350 degree Fahrenheit for about 10 mins and garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
