Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Poha (thick or thin)
  • 1/2 cup - Instant Oats (optional)
  • 1 cup - Corn flakes
  • 1 tbsp - Dried Coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp - Oil
  • 1/2 tsp -Turmeric powder
  • Chilli powder as per taste
  • Salt as per taste
  • a pinch - Sugar
  • 20- 25 - Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp - Dry roasted slivered Almonds (optional)
  • 1 tbsp - Dry roasted Peanuts
  • a pinch - Asafoetida

How to Make

  • Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder and asafoetida.
  • Add poha and roast on low flame for 5 minutes or until crisp.
  • Add corn flakes, oats, coconut flakes, salt, sugar, almonds and peanuts.
  • Mix and stir for 1 minute and turn off the heat.
  • Transfer the mixture to a container and allow it to cool completely.
  • Then store it in an air-tight container.
