Ingredients

  • For Fruit Mixture:
  • 3 tbsp - Butter
  • 2 tbsp - Brown sugar
  • 1 apple, medium
  • 1 banana, big
  • 1 tbsp - Lime juice
  • For Cake Mixture:
  • 1/2 cup - Butter
  • 1/2 cup - powdered Sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1 cup - Maida
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1 tbsp - cocoa
  • For Topping:
  • 1/2 cup - desiccated Coconut
  • 1 tbsp - Brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder

How to Make Chocolate Banana Pudding

  • Beat butter and sugar for fruit mixture till smooth and spread at the base of a pudding dish.
  • Peel, core and slice apple. Slice banana. Toss in lime juice and arrange at the base.
  • Beat butter and sugar for cake till light. Add beaten eggs little at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the essence.
  • Fold in the Maida mixed with cocoa and baking powder. If the mixture is very stiff, add a little milk.
  • Spread on top of the fruits. Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle on top.
  • Microwave on medium high (70 % power ) for 8-9 minutes. Allow to stand for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
