Ingredients

  • For Fruit Mixture:
  • 3 tbsp - Butter
  • 2 tbsp - Brown sugar
  • 1 apple, medium
  • 1 banana, big
  • 1 tbsp - Lime juice
  • For Cake Mixture:
  • 1/2 cup - Butter
  • 1/2 cup - powdered Sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 1 cup - Maida
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 1 tbsp - cocoa
  • For Topping:
  • 1/2 cup - desiccated Coconut
  • 1 tbsp - Brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • How to Make Chocolate Banana Pudding:

    1. Beat butter and sugar for fruit mixture till smooth and spread at the base of a pudding dish.
    2. Peel, core and slice apple. Slice banana. Toss in lime juice and arrange at the base.
    3. Beat butter and sugar for cake till light. Add beaten eggs little at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the essence.
    4. Fold in the Maida mixed with cocoa and baking powder. If the mixture is very stiff, add a little milk.
    5. Spread on top of the fruits. Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle on top.
    6. Microwave on medium high (70 % power ) for 8-9 minutes. Allow to stand for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
