  • 2 litres Milk
  • 1 big slab of Milk chocolate melted over hot water
  • 1 small slab of chocolate, chopped
  • 125 gms. Sugar
  • 100 gms. mixed sliced nuts like almonds, pistachios, Walnuts and Cashewnuts
  • 2 tbsp. Raisins
  • A few drops essence of vanilla
  • Silver Vark

How to Make Chocolate Barfi

  • Heat milk and sugar together and keep on stirring till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the vessel.
  • Mix in the rest of the above ingredients with the exception of vark.
  • Put into a lightly greased thali.
  • Level the surface and decorate with vark.
  • Cut into pieces when cold.
