  • 200 g - refined flour or maida
  • 2 - eggs
  • 200 g - powdered sugar
  • 200 g - butter
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp - broken cashew nuts or walnuts

How to Make Chocolate Brownies with walnuts

  • Beat the butter, sugar, eggs, salt, cocoa powder and vanilla essence together until it becomes creamy.
  • Add the flour and mix well. If the mixture is too thick, add a little milk.
  • Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured cake tin.
  • Sprinkle the broken cashews or walnuts on top.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes in a moderately hot oven. The top should be brown and crisp.
