Ingredients

  • For Biscuit Layer:
  • 400 g - Marie biscuits, crushed coarsely
  • 100 g - walnuts, crushed
  • 2 tbsp - Butter melted
  • 1/2 cup - sugar, powdered
  • 2 or 3 drops - vanilla essence
  • For Inner Layer:
  • 1 slab - Cadbury Milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup - whole Milk powder
  • 1/2 cup - walnuts, crushed coarsely
  • 1/2 can - condensed Milk
  • 1/4 cup - cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • For Coating:
  • 1 cup - Walnut powder

How to Make Chocolate-Walnut Rolls

  • For Biscuit Layer: Mix all ingredients, spread out on a thick greased plastic sheet. Pat to a thick layer, well pressed.
  • Keep refrigerated till required.
  • For Inner Layer:
  • Melt butter, chocolate in a heavy pan, on low heat.
  • When melted, add condensed milk, mix, stir continuously.
  • Add milk powder, cocoa, mix well till no lumps remain.
  • Take off fire, add all walnuts, mix again.
  • Cool a bit, spread out carefully on biscuit layer.
  • Using the sheet to apply pressure, press into a cylinder.
  • The rolled product will look like a Swiss roll.
  • Roll this in walnut powder.
  • Chill, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  • Store in airtight container.
