Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - boiled Chickpeas
  • 2.5 cups - finely chopped Onions
  • 1 tbsp - minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp - minced Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder
  • 2 tsp - coriander
  • 1 tsp - green chillies, minced
  • 1/2 cup - tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1- Bay Leaf
  • Salt to taste and some oil
  • A little Lime juice
  • How to Make Chole (Pressure cooked):

    1. Heat oil in a pan. Add bay leaf and onions and fry till brown; add the ginger-garlic and the remaining ingredients except boiled chickpeas and fry.
    2. Lastly, add the chickpeas and close the lid and leave it for 15 minutes; cook on medium heat.
    3. Add a little lime juice and it is ready to serve.
