Potato Recipes from 

Chutney Potatoes is a lip-smacking dish that makes us fall in love with potatoes all over again. You cannot get over the irresistible flavour of chutney mix that blends well with the fresh, soft potatoes. Make sure the potatoes are not overcooked, else it will be mushy. 

It makes a tasty snack on a chilled evening along with a hot cup of tea or coffee.


  • 4 medium potatoes, cut into round slices
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves
  • 4 Green chillies
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 4 flakes Garlic
  • 1 small piece Coconut
  • Tamarind to taste
  • 1 tsp. each of cumin and Coriander seeds
  • ½ tsp. Turmeric powder
  • Salt and chilli powder to taste
  • How to Make Chutney Potatoes:

    1. Grind all the above ingredients to a paste with the exception of potatoes.
    2. Apply nicely on the potato slices and put in a pan.
    3. Cover tightly and cook without adding water till the potatoes are cooked.
