Ingredients

  • 500 g - bendi
  • 1/2 cup- Coconut
  • Chilli powder - 1.5 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cashew - a few
  • Oil to fry

How to Make Coconut and Bendhi Fry

  • First wash the bendi and spread it on a paper to dry.
  • Cut them into small round slices.
  • Heat oil in kadai and deep-fry the slices till they become crispy.
  • Next deep-fry coconut and then cashew nuts and add them to fried bendi.
  • Heat 1 tsp of oil in pan, splutter mustard . Then add channa dal and urud dal
  • Then add above mixture, salt and chilli powder and mix properly. Heat it for some time till raw smell of chilli powder goes
  • Serve with rice, chappti or naan
