Ingredients

  • 1 - Large Chicken
  • 6 - Chillies, red dry
  • 1 tbsp - Jeera/Cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp - Kuskus
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander/Dhania powder
  • 1 inch- Turmeric
  • 8 - Cloves
  • 2 pieces - Cinnamon
  • 6 - Peppercorns
  • 6 - Green chillies
  • 1 - Onion
  • 1 inch - Ginger
  • 6 - Cloves
  • 8-10- Mint leaves
  • 4 sprigs- Coriander leaves
  • 1- Coconut scraped (take thick and thin juice)
  • 5 tbsp - Ghee masala
  • 1 tbsp - Vinegar
  • 200g - Potatoes, boiled
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Coconut Chicken Chops:

    1. Clean and cut the chicken into big pieces.
    2. Grind one coconut and reserve the thick and thin juice.
    3. Cook the meat in the thin juice.
    4. Now boil the condiments and grind them with ghee.
    5. In the above ground masala, add the fresh ingredients and grind into a paste. Add half of the scraped coconut and grind it with the masala.
    6. When the meat is sufficiently cooked, add the ground masala, salt, and vinegar to taste. Then cook for 15 minutes.
    7. Now saute the sliced onion and add it to the curry.
    8. Add the boiled potatoes and allow them to absorb the curry.
    9. Now add the thick coconut juice and simmer for a while. Remove from the stove and cool.
