How to Make Coconut Chingri Malaikari

  • Clean and devein the prawns. Marinate them with turmeric powder and salt for sometime.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the prawns.
  • Separatelt, grind the soaked mustard seeds in a grinder until smooth.
  • Cook the mustard paste and coconut milk in oil until they mix well.
  • Add the fried prawns and cook for 5-7 minutes until the mustard paste mixes well with the prawns.
  • Add salt to taste and the green chillies.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice.
