How to Make

  • Cook rice and keep aside.
  • Grind coconut, salt, a pinch of tamarind, 1 pod of garlic, coriander leaves and chillies to a smooth paste.
  • In a kadai, saute curry leaves, mustard and cumin.
  • Add onions and fry well.
  • Add the ground paste to this and cook well for 5-8 minutes.
  • Now, mix the rice.
  • Garnish with cashew and coriander.
