Ingredients

  • 3 cups - Rice
  • 2 cups - grated Coconut
  • A pinch of Salt
  • For Onion chutney:
  • 1 - medium sized Onion
  • 1 cup - grated Coconut
  • 5 - Red Chillies
  • 1 tbsp - Tamarind paste
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Coconut Dosa and Onion Chutney:

    1. Grind coconut, red chillies and tamarind into a thick paste with a little water.
    2. Blend the finely chopped onion with the coconut paste and a little salt.
    3. Set aside the onion chutney. Soak rice in water for 30 mins.
    4. Grind coconut and rice together to a fine thin paste with water.
    5. Add salt to taste.
    6. Heat non-stick pan. Pour the dough and spread into a dosa.
    7. Cook both sides till done.
    8. Serve hot with onion chutney.
