Ingredients

  • 1 raw - mango
  • 1/2 coconut, grated
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1 tsp - urad dal
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1/4 tsp - asafoetida
  • 1 - sprig curry leaves
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves, a few

How to Make Coconut Mango Chutney

  • Clean the mango, peel and cut into small pieces. Cut the chillies, too.
  • Grind the mango, coconut and chillies along with salt and asafoetida without adding water.
  • Heat oil, add mustard, urad dal and curry leaves.
  • Once it splutters, pour the seasoning over the chutney.
  • Mix well and serve with rice or dosa.
