Ingredients

  • 1 raw - Mango
  • 1/2 coconut, grated
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 1 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1/4 tsp - Asafoetida
  • 1 - sprig Curry leaves
  • 2 tsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves, a few
  • How to Make Coconut Mango Chutney:

    1. Clean the mango, peel and cut into small pieces. Cut the chillies, too.
    2. Grind the mango, coconut and chillies along with salt and asafoetida without adding water.
    3. Heat oil, add mustard, urad dal and curry leaves.
    4. Once it splutters, pour the seasoning over the chutney.
    5. Mix well and serve with rice or dosa.
