Ingredients

  • Rice - 1/2 kg
  • Coconut Milk - 2.5 ltr
  • Green chillies - 2 to 5
  • Onion diced - 6
  • pudina - 5 bunches
  • ginger,
  • Garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  • Dalchini - 1 " - 6
  • Laung - 6
  • Bay Leaf - 3
  • elaichi - 3
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • oil - 6 tbsp
  • How to Make Coconut milk Pulao:

    1. Wash the rice and tie tightly in a cotton cloth to absorb water. Heat the ghee in a karahi and fry the rice till it becomes white. Set aside.
    2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add all the whole spices and bay leaves.
    3. Add diced onion and saute till it turns transparent.
    4. Add green chillies and saute till soft. Add the ginger, garlic paste and saute.
    5. Add pudina and saute. Add coconut milk and bring to boil.
    6. Add rice and salt.Cover and pressure cook for 7 minutes or for one whistle.
    7. Let the steam settle down before you open.Coconutmilk Pullao is ready.
