  • 1 can - chickpeas, 19 oz.
  • 1 - big tomato
  • 1 - big onion
  • Green chillies - 4
  • 1 tsp - tamarind juice
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • Red pepper powder, according to your taste
  • Salt and a little jaggery or sugar
  • Coriander for garnish

How to Make Cold Chick Peas Salad

  • Chop the onions, tomatoes, green chillies and coriander very finely.
  • Mix all except the coriander with the drained out chickpeas.
  • Add jaggery dissolved in tamarind water or sugar.
  • Garnish with coriander
  • Serve chilled
