Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 4 - green chillies, chopped finely
  • A few sprigs - Curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup - groundnuts
  • 1 cup - boiled Corn
  • 150 g - thin poha, washed and drained
  • 75 g - grated Coconut
  • 1 tsp -chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped, for garnishing
  • How to Make Corn and Coconut Chivda:

    1. Add oil in a casserole.
    2. Microwave on high for a minute.
    3. Add cumin seeds and microwave on high for one minute.
    4. Add green chillies, curry leaves, and groundnuts.
    5. Microwave on high for 3 mins.
    6. Mix corn, poha, coconut and the remaining spices in a plate.
    7. Add to the casserole and mix well.
    8. Sprinkle 30 ml water.
    9. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes to make the chivda very hot.
    10. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot.
