Ingredients

  • 3 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 capsicum, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp - flour (maida), roasted in a little Butter
  • 5 cups Milk and water mixed half and half
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • 1 cup - corn, cooked
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp - Cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Corn and onion broth

  • Heat butter in a pressure cooker.
  • Add garlic, onions, carrots and capsicums.
  • Cook till transluscent.
  • Add tomatoes and corn.
  • Mix flour with milk-water mixture leaving no lumps and add to vegetables.
  • Add salt and pepper and chilli powder.
  • Cook covered for 10 mins.
  • When blended, serve topped with cream.
