Ingredients

  • 6 - slices of bread
  • 1 cup - Corn kernels, boiled
  • 1 cup - white sauce
  • 2 tbsp - Tomato ketchup
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 7 to 8 - Garlic Cloves
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Celery leaves for garnishing
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • How to Make Corn Toast:

    1. Prepare the white sauce with milk and corn flour.
    2. In a kadhai, put some butter and when it melts, add the onions and garlic and fry till golden brown.
    3. Let cool. Then add the white sauce to it.
    4. Add the tomato ketchup, chilli powder, salt, pepper, and boiled corn.
    5. Pre-heat oven. Apply butter to one side of the bread. Put the butter side down on an aluminium baking tray.
    6. Spread the corn mixture on the bread and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and celery. Bake in the moderately hot oven till the cheese turns golden brown.
