Ingredients

  • 1 cup - boiled crab meat
  • 1/2 cup - raw rice
  • 1 cup - water
  • 6-7 strands - saffron
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped finely
  • 1/4 cup - chopped spring onions
  • 1/4 cup - chopped and boiled carrots
  • 1/4 cup - diced and boiled zucchini
  • 2 tbsp- chopped capsicum
  • 1/4 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 2 tsp - chaat masala
  • 1/4 cup - finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 cup - French dressing
  • 2 - hard-boiled eggs, sliced for garnishing

How to Make Crab Salad with Rice

  • Soak the rice for 30 minutes.
  • Cook the rice in 1 cup of water. Add saffron. Cool once done.
  • Add chaat masala to French dressing and keep aside.
  • Mix all the ingredients, except the dressing and eggs.
  • Add the dressing and toss well.
  • Arrange the egg slices on the sides of serving dish with salad in the centre.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve chilled.
