Ingredients

  • 1 cup - boiled Crab Meat
  • 1/2 cup - raw Rice
  • 1 cup - water
  • 6-7 strands - Saffron
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped finely
  • 1/4 cup - chopped Spring onions
  • 1/4 cup - chopped and boiled Carrots
  • 1/4 cup - diced and boiled Zucchini
  • 2 tbsp- chopped Capsicum
  • 1/4 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 2 tsp - chaat masala
  • 1/4 cup - finely chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 cup - French dressing
  • 2 - hard-boiled eggs, sliced for garnishing
  • How to Make Crab Salad with Rice:

    1. Soak the rice for 30 minutes.
    2. Cook the rice in 1 cup of water. Add saffron. Cool once done.
    3. Add chaat masala to French dressing and keep aside.
    4. Mix all the ingredients, except the dressing and eggs.
    5. Add the dressing and toss well.
    6. Arrange the egg slices on the sides of serving dish with salad in the centre.
    7. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and serve chilled.
