  • 1 - big Crab
  • 2 to 3 - Spring onions (very finely chopped)
  • 6 to 8 - Mushrooms (washed well and finely sliced)
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 liter - any stock
  • 1 - Chicken soup cube
  • 1 tsp - Ginger (crushed)
  • 1 stalk - Celery (sliced)
  • 1/4 tsp - ajinomoto
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • finely chopped greens of Spring onions (to garnish)
  • How to Make Crab Soup with mushrooms:

    1. Wash the crab thoroughly with the help of a tooth brush.
    2. Boil sufficient water in a pan.
    3. Add the crab and boil.
    4. Remove the crab carefully and shell it.
    5. Scoop out the meat and keep aside.
    6. Heat oil in a pan.
    7. Add ginger and saute for few seconds.
    8. Add the celery and mushrooms and saute till all the water from the mushrooms evaporates.
    9. Add the crab meat, onions, stock, ajinomoto, chicken soup cube, salt and pepper and boil.
    10. After a boil, simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
    11. Serve garnished with finely chopped green onions.
