Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Cracked wheat
  • 1/2 cup - Corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup - Green peas
  • 1/2 cup - French beans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup - carrot, diced
  • 1/4 cup - Peanuts
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Ginger and chilli paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Dhania powder
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric
  • a pinch of Hing
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee or oil
  • 3 cups - water
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing
  • How to Make Cracked Wheat Khichdi with mixed veggies:

    1. Pour all the ingredients in a pressure cooker with 3 cups of water. Mix well.
    2. Cook for 2 whistles.
    3. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
    4. Serve hot.
