Ingredients

  • 200g - Boiled Rice
  • 50g - Raw Rice
  • 250g- Jaggery
  • 250g -Cucumber
  • 1/2 cup - Coconut
  • 4-5 Cardamom, powdered
  • How to Make Cucumber Mandas:

    1. Soak the rice overnight and grind it the following day into a thick non-watery batter.
    2. Add jaggery, grated cucumber, and grated coconut to the ground rice, and grind it till all the ingredients are well-blended.
    3. Add cardamom and just a pinch of salt (optional).
    4. Remove the batter, mix a tablespoon of pure ghee, and either steam or bake it till done.
