  • 8 - pig trotters
  • 2 - large tomatoes, pureed
  • 3 tsp - chilli powder
  • 2 - large onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - all spice powder or Garam Masala powder
  • 3 tbsp - oil
  • salt
  • a small bunch of coriander leaves, chopped
  • How to Make Curried pork trotters:

    1. Wash the trotters well and cook it with sufficient water and a little salt in a pressure cooker till it is soft.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and lightly saute the onions.
    3. Add the cooked trotters, all the spice powders, chilli powder, coriander powder, tomato puree and salt and mix it well.
    4. Cook first on high heat and then on low heat for about 15 minutes.
    5. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
    6. Serve it hot with rice or bread.
