Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - Tamarind paste
  • 5 - Red Chillies
  • 2 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1/4 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • A pinch - Asafoetida
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 5 leaves - Curry leaves
  • How to Make Curry Leaves Sambar:

    1. Fry urad dal, red chillies and asafoetida in oil
    2. Wet grind the above mixture with curry leaves, tamarind paste, and salt
    3. Boil with 2 cups of water
    4. Heat some oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and add curry leaves. Serve as a curry.
